Real life is outside and it's just waiting for you. JOB CONTEXT In our Aigle office based in Hong Kong, we are looking for our next APAC Merchandiser Manager. You will be part of the Merchandising Team team, our AAL Managing Director, and will put your expertise to work for a sustainable and responsible brand. In order to, your role will be to a key leader, who will develop and implement the regional merchandising strategies and plan, aligning with regional trends and buyers’ preferences.

JOB PURPOSE

The Merchandising Manager is a key leader, who will develop and implement the regional merchandising strategies and plan, aligning with regional trends and buyers’ preferences.

- This role collaborates with the studio and product development teams to optimize assortments and satisfy regional product buyers, to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.

- Directly reporting to the Managing Director (MD), He/she is the Asia point of contact for Aigle global teams, AAL product development teams and Asian buyers.

MISSIONS ET RESPONSABILITIES

1. Strategic Merchandising concepts

- Manage the APAC assortment aligned with brand objectives and Asian market dynamics.

- From Global Roadmap concepts, propose the regional roadmap concepts adjustment, to ensure Asian business needs will be met and cohesive.

- Analyze market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities, in collaboration with Asian buyers.

2/Product Planning & Market Analysis

- Collaborate closely with global offer, and studio teams to improve the global assortment and establish the ‘global core offer’.

- Drive Asia product brief and line plans by consolidating products market demands and analyzing the sales product performances.

- Join the samples reviews to ensure business needs are met and marketing plan is cohesive with collection.

- Track and report on the product KPI’s: margin, retail prices, sales product performance, and forecast to adjust the assortments or strategies as necessary.

- Review and analyze purchased seasonal assortment for markets to ensure they align with the merchandise plan and company targets.

- Overview and monitor China licensing products.

 

3/ Organize and contribute to Key Meetings

- From concept to the seasonal seminar coordinate the key seasonal meetings with cross-functional teams (Global offer team, Product development, Marketing and Supply Chain) to align on business goals, priorities, and seasonal strategies.

-Present seasonal product and GTM plans to APAC markets at every key meeting.

- Lead the Monthly Merchandising Meeting to communicate closely with key GTM buyers.

 

4/Marketing & communication

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing materials, and campaigns that effectively position products to the target audience.

- Facilitate and promote communication and cooperation between retail operations, merchandising and marketing to accomplish sales and business objectives.

- In charge of the e-com shooting plan Asia products, in collaboration with global team and third company.

 

6/ Team leadership & Development

- Manage assistant product manager.

- Lead Asia merchandisers for cohesive work and with supportive spirit.

 Working position: Hong Kong, Aigle Asia Limited. Travel to Europe and on Asia region.

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in the regional fashion merchandising.
  • You are fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
